About Coconut

Built by people who have been building the internet since the dial-up era.

Coconut is the next chapter from the founders behind JabberWocky BBS and WMINet — a secure cloud browser for the modern workplace, with safe AI adoption as a natural extension, not the whole story.

Our mission

Make secure work feel as simple as opening a browser.

For most teams today, securing work means stitching together VPNs, MDM, EDR, identity, and a growing pile of SaaS controls. It's expensive, brittle, and built for enterprises with full security teams.

We built Coconut to collapse that stack into a single thing your team already knows how to use: a browser. The browser runs in our cloud, the data stays off the device, and admins get one place to manage it all.

Three decades of internet infrastructure

Our founders helped bring the internet to thousands of users in the 90s — first through one of India's earliest BBSes, then through one of its earliest ISPs. Coconut applies that same builder mindset to the modern problem: how do small and mid-sized businesses work securely in a SaaS-first, BYOD, AI-driven world?

Our heritage

From dial-up modems to the secure cloud workplace

A short history of what we've built and why Coconut is the natural next step.

1990s

JabberWocky BBS

One of the earliest dial-up bulletin board systems in India — bringing online communities to users before the public internet arrived.

1995–2010

WMINet

Founded one of India's first commercial ISPs, building the infrastructure that connected thousands of businesses and homes to the early internet.

2015+

Mnemonix LLC

Started building secure cloud infrastructure for distributed teams, focusing on the gap between consumer tools and enterprise security stacks.

Today

Coconut — Secure Cloud Browser

A cloud browser for the modern workplace: phishing, malicious sites, and zero-day exploits stay off the endpoint — and ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, and browser agents run safely in the same session.

Founders

The people behind Coconut

Two builders who have been shipping internet infrastructure since most people had never heard of the internet.

Gautam Godse

Co-Founder

Internet infrastructure builder for three decades. Co-founded JabberWocky BBS and WMINet, one of India's earliest ISPs. Has spent his career making the internet accessible — first by laying the wires, now by securing the way teams use it.

Vikram Godse

Co-Founder

Product and platform leader with deep roots in networking and cloud. Co-built WMINet and went on to design infrastructure for distributed teams. Drives Coconut's product philosophy: enterprise-grade security with the simplicity of a browser tab.

What we believe

The principles behind every Coconut decision

Security should be invisible

Real security only works if people actually use it. Coconut is engineered to feel like a normal browser while doing the heavy lifting in the cloud.

Built for SMBs and MSPs

Most enterprise security products forget the 99% of businesses that don't have a SOC. We design every feature for teams without dedicated security staff.

Simple beats complicated

No agents, no installs, no endpoint posture engines. Open a tab, sign in, work securely. That's the whole product story.

The browser is the workplace

Work — and increasingly the AI agents that do work — happens in the browser. That's where security and policy must live, not on the device.

The company
